When the update reaches 99% it will crash and show an error. Go through it as you've done before with your 2.0 update and follow the prompts. Select it and you should see the 1.5 update.ġ3. You will now go over to the Game icon and scroll down to memory stick.

Wait AT LEAST 30 SECONDS and then turn off your PSP by holding the power button up until it fully shuts down. Your PSP screen should now appear something like this.ġ1. Two strings of letters/numbers will appear. Go to the Photo icon on your PSP and scroll through the pictures to get to overflow.tif. As with all upgrades, you must have a certain percentage of battery life as well as the AC adapter plugged in, or this will not work.ġ0. Now, disconnect the USB connection from the computer and plug the AC adapter into the PSP. This is where the 1.5 eboot update should now go.ĭouble check that you followed the above instructions before continuing.ĩ. Once all of this is done, you're ready to downgrade. Open up the new UPDATE folder and then copy EBOOT.PBP into this folder from your computer. It MUST be called UPDATE and nothing else.Ĩ.
If there is not already, create a folder called UPDATE. Now, go back to the PSP directory and go into the Game directory. This is what the photo folder should now look like.ħ. Here, you will copy overflow.tif over, keeping it in the Photo directory and not a sub directory.

If it is saying 2.00 than move to number 3 or if you wish to play homebrew on 2.0 move to 5 Place the update on your memory stick in X SP/GAME/UPDATE do not forget caps lock(if the folder isnt already there make it) It doesnt matter only the 0 and the x functions are switched If it is saying 1.51 or 1.52 than update to 2.0.You can find the update 2.0here for US systems or japans psp.
